Kristie works as an actor to support her hostessing habit. She moved to New York from Florida-via-Louisiana, but ardently insists she is not a Southerner. She has learned, however, that using “y’all” when asking large groups of people in New York to do something makes them more likely to comply. Example: “Could y’all please move to the center of the train?” She has also learned that a shoulder can double as a staff to part seas of people. When not standing at the front of a restaurant getting paid to look pretty or negotiating the intricacies of public transit, Kristie can be found watching college football. She also acts.
